NXTPAPER 14

Just wonderful, been using tcl nxtpaper tablets for some time now. This new edition is the perfect upgrade. Large is an understatement, this tablet is massive and the screen is great. The paper like feel took some getting used to, but after having multiple tablets in this line I'm well versed. Doesn't just look good however, it's performance hits the mark every time. This has easily become a daily use tablet for myself.

I got it a week ago. I find the color epaper mode very easy on the eyes. And no ghosting like eink. I would prefer they used an OLED screen instead of IPS. Also, I wish they would allow us to customize the white point instead of fixing it for us. Also, there is really no need for colors to be so pale in the color eink mode. All you need to do is change the white point and darken the bright colors. You can keep dark colors unchanged. That will be enough to make the screen comfortable, without sacrificing much color accuracy. Making the colors more pale in color paper mode, just to mimic eink, is (partly) a gimmick in my opinion (as a physics professor). You only need to darken bright colors for comfort, not all colors. I hope TCL allows us to do this in an update.
